The Media Entrepreneur Meetup

The Media Entrepreneur Meetup is a group of media CEOs and Founders who all have a shared goal of creating a community for what can often be an isolated position.
We want to connect people and experiences to make sure independent media entrepreneurs can support each other in pursuing their goals.

Star Guest Q&As – “Founder Journeys”:
The New York Meetup is an evening event with drinks, networking and Q&As with Founders and CEOs who are out of the ordinary.

The theme is ‘Founder Journeys’ and we’ll discuss the various stages of the Scaleup lifecycle, from early stage to achieving scale, to exit and beyond. Hear from an incredible panel of entrepreneurs who have been there and done it.

  • Rafat Ali is CEO and Founder of Skift, which is the largest industry intelligence platform for the travel sector
  • Sean Griffey is CEO and Co-Founder of Industry Dive, a digital media company that publishes business news and content in 22 markets. Following a successful Scaleup journey under Private Equity ownership, Sean led the sale to Informa plc in 2022
  • Angelique Mercurio is the Founder and CEO of EnerKnol, the energy policy data and analytics startup recognized by the White House as one of “America’s leading private sector innovators using open data to solve the nation’s most pressing energy challenges”
